The coalition of aggrieved customers of Menzgold has called on the Economic and Organised Crifme Office (EOCO) and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to arrest Stonebwoy for promoting another new way to make quick money.
The Ghanaian dancehall act was seen prompting a non-fungible token (NFT) SidiCoinNFT to his followers on Twitter. In the post made on April 18, Stonebwoy urged his Twitter followers to invest in a new money-making venture called SidiCoin.
“Every Hardworking Person Deserves To Make Money. The Future is NOW! Times Are Changing. Anticipate the #SidiCoinNFT @sidicoin. Join The #SidicoinClub Will Tell You More Later. #NFTsCommunity.”
According to the statement released and signed by their PRO, Fred Forson, “Ghana has not forgotten so soon that Livingstone Etse Satekla, alias Stonebwoy, was one of the lead brand ambassadors for the botched MenzGold investment Wherein a similar fashion he and others lured their followers into investing in MenzGold which has resulted in the deaths of not less than 179 victims with many others down with various degrees of ailments.”
The group also believes that the proposed venture is another NAM 1 scam in disguise. And is, therefore, petitioning for Stonebwoys arrest and seizure of any national or corporate award for “openly endorsing and promoting sidicoinNFT and sidicoin club; an unlicensed financial scheme which has been found to be a scam.”
