Radio Progress Upper west music awards is the oldest and most branded music award scheme in the Upper West Region. This is a yearly event that is organized to appreciate hard working entertainment industry players.
This year been the 8th edition is set to take place at Inservice training center Wa, on the 30th of December 2022. This year’s event is bigger and better as potential winners stands the chance of winning a plaque, medals and other souvenirs from the organizers.

The controversial part of the organization is billing of the performing artists. Statistically only 43% of the performing artists filled for nomination in the scheme.
Some are of the opinion that they should have had a major number of performing artists from the nominated artists such that they will be able to recoups their funds invested in voting and other stuffs, some believe that as far as the performing artists is from Upper West, there is no cause for alarm. Is worth mentioning that most of them are former winners of the awards scheme.
Performing artists for awards night includes , Nashberry, Rekordz, Kawute and Ojay Berima.
Guest artists for awards night includes, Wiz Maleek, Best Gally and GDogg Dagaati.
Voting will end on the 30th of December at exactly 5:00pm so vote, vote and vote for your nominee.
Mean while tickets for the event is still available and selling at 30gh ticket and 40gh at gate.
