In recent weeks, security issues have arisen in the Upper West Region. A significant scuffle between two tribes occurred in the Lambusei District, prompting swift response from the Regional Security Team, which has since taken control of the situation.
Further unrest has been reported in the Wa West District, specifically around Lassia Tuolu and Kendeu, where tribal conflict has led to fatalities and rising tensions. Reports indicate that bodies have been found and there is mobilization for potential attacks.

“It is an election year, and one of the things we talk about is peace, but there have been few security issues in the Upper West Region for the past few weeks.
There was a scuffle between two tribes in the Lambusei District of the Upper West Region
The Regional Security Team; responded quickly and are on top of it.
The past hours have been about another tribal scuffle ( conflict) in the Wa West District of the Upper West Region,
I’m told bodies have been dropped and people are mobilising to attack , this is around Lassia Toulo and Kendeu
