The Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency, Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, and his Constituency Executives recently took steps to support education and community development initiatives in the area.
The member of parliament through the Constituency Executive presented cheques to support students in the payment of fees and other community-related costs, reaffirming his commitment to uplifting the lives of constituents.
A significant portion of the funds was allocated towards community development projects, with various amounts being presented to Sokpariyiri and Jengbeyiri. The support aims to facilitate the continuous construction of essential infrastructure, including the maternity block at Sokpariyiri and the pavilion at the adolescents CHPS compound in Jengbeyiri.
Cheques totaling 31,000 Ghana Cedis were issued to the aforementioned communities through their respective leaders, reflecting Dr. Rashid Pelpuo’s dedication to advancing local development initiatives.
In addition to supporting community projects, over 50,000 Ghana Cedis worth of cheques were presented to students at various levels of education to assist with fees and educational expenses. This financial support reaffirms the MPs commitment to promoting access to education and empowering the youth of Wa Central Constituency.
These interventions represent just a fraction of the efforts undertaken by the revered lawmaker and his quest to enhance the health, welfare, and educational systems within the constituency.
