In a significant development within the ongoing trial of Ahmed Rashid, a renowned Master of Ceremony for Islamic weddings in Wa, a group of witnesses has provided testimony in camera today, ensuring their identities remain protected and their safety upheld.
Ahmed Rashid, believed to be around 35 years old, is currently undergoing trial for a series of 20 charges, encompassing defilement, attempted defilement, and indecent assault. Rashid has firmly denied all accusations lodged against him in the court proceedings.
In today’s court presided over by His Honour Mr. Jonathan Avogo, an 8-years old girl whom is an alleged victim testified including Mr. Bahass CEO of Bahass foundation.
