As the DCE and parliamentary candidate aspirant for NPP in the Wa East district, Dr. Mahama Sulaiman Kandia Ewurah has tagged his work for the district as unprecedented despite resources constraints.
In an interview on home radio monitered by Blitzzafrica.com, the enthusiastic DCE elaborated his achivements since assuming office in 4th October 2021. These achivement ranges from the area of security, employment, health and others.

In the area of security which Dr. Ewurah stress as a major concern in the district, he has been able to leased with the upper west regional police command to deploy police visibilty and patrons in vantage areas in the district which has reduced crime drastically.
Health is another area which importances can never be overlooked and as such, Dr. Ewurah never relent towards improving health in the district. It is worth recalling that the DCE recently donate tricyle ambulances the health centers in the district.This delivery was in line with government one district one ambulance and his quest to improve health care in the district. He also refurbished and health centers in the district including nursing quaters. He is currently working hard on getting a high profile doctor to the district.

Employment situations in the district was also disccussed in the interview. He set the records straight by saying he has helped over 70 youth in the district to get sustainable jobs just under one year in office and have also attracted new investment to the area, which has created even more jobs.
He stress that he is working tirelessly to get lavarage with stakeholder for youth in the district to do legal mining as the district is a mining area.
On getting communities connected to the national grid, he addded that before he assume office, 43 communities weren’t connected including some which is documented to be connected but which actually aren’t. He also added that some communities are currently undergoing electrification.
Talking about his relationship with party executives ,“I have a cordial relationship with my party executive in the district” he concluded
