The most recent actress from Nigeria to convert to Islam is Mercy Aigbe.The actress revealed that she has converted to Islam and her Islamic name during an interview during a Ramadan lecture and special prayers that she and her husband, Kazim Adeoti, organized on Saturday.
It’s interesting to note that the divisive actress disclosed in January 2022 that her director husband is a Muslim and has the right to wed more than one bride.

Aigbe, 45, said in a video posted to social media that she had changed her name to Hajia Meenah Mercy Adeoti. Meenah with a “H”
She also affirmed this on her Instagram feed, posting pictures of herself at the lecture wearing traditional Islamic garb.
