Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, better known by his stage name Sabinus, has won his first international prize in Rwanda.
At the just finished Rwanda International Cinema Awardsbat Crown Conference on Saturday, Sabinus took home the prize for “Best International Creator.”

Mr. Funny was featured among the winners in the international category together with three other Nigerians: Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Ini Edo, and IK Ogbonna.

RMD was given the prize for “Best Legendary Actor” while Ini Edo and IK Ogbonna won the titles of “Best Actress International” and “Best Actor International,” respectively.
The actor and comedian shared photos posing with his award via his Instagram page expressing gratitude to his fans for their love and support while announcing his latest achievement.
“Thanks Guys For The Support And Love!!! Won African Content Creator Award At The Rwanda International Movie Awards 2023,” he wrote.
