The Jubilee House Communication Directorate had issued these.

The study stated that 44 Senior Presidential Staffers and two Ministers of State were on duty between January 2022 and December 2022.

There are now 361 political appointees overall thanks to the additional 315 political appointees at the President’s Office.

It’s crucial to remember that only 163 of the 361 political appointees of the Office of the President physically work at Jubilee House. The other people perform their jobs at the offices that they have been given.

It is also instructive to note that the 315 other political appointees include Special Assistants, Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants to Ministers of State and Regional Ministers, Employees in the Office of the Vice President, Aides and Assistants assigned to the First Lady and Second Lady, as well as Employees assigned to Government Agencies under the Office of the President, in keeping with the established practice of previous governments of the 4th Republic.

Employees of Public Sector Organizations attached to the Office were included in addition to the political appointees.

These employees came from a variety of job categories, including those in administrative, executive/clerical, records, secretarial, budget, procurement, and supply chain management, as well as those working in the presidential household and the department of parks and gardens.

Others included the Ghana Postal Corporation, Ghana Health Service, Public Works Department (Prestige), Ghana Audit Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Controller and Accountant General’s Department.

There were 687 employees in these categories in total. The statement underlined that these personnel categories had always been employed by the Office of the President under previous administrations and had been chosen by their relevant public institutions as well as the Civil Service.

The Directorate believes that the President’s submission of this report demonstrates his dedication to openness and accountability.

It gives a thorough picture of the President’s Office’s staffing situation and is meant to guide decision-making.
