Some of the world’s oldest trees, such as baobabs, may be found in Africa. The Savannah regions of the continent are home to a big and prevalent kind of tree. Aside from being among the oldest trees in the world, they are also among the biggest and tallest. Baobabs begin their early growth with a single stem and subsequently grow many stems and segments over time.

In many African communities, the wide spread of their branches provides enough shade for social gatherings. These trees, which can be found throughout Africa, are now an important element of the continent’s tourism industry.
