Because no artists from the Northern Region performed at Sista Afia’s Queen Solomon Concert in Tamale at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, she believes it was a failure. She claims that some people are deliberately impeding her attempts to put on a successful concert in the Northern Hemisphere.

Medikal, Kwame Yogot, Mr. Drew, Sefa, Lasmid, Ataaka, Wiz Child, Fadlan, LilWin, and other notable musicians performed during the Queen Solomon event in Tamale.

“The lack of Fancy or one other artiste on the bill ruined the entire evening,” I said. So they continued taking out the plugs. Two seconds after I entered the stage, they pulled the plug, turning off all the lights once more. Even prior to me taking the stage, they continued to do it.

A low level of faculty technical support was reported from the concert.

Sista Afia revealed to 3Music that after dominating Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast, she chose to take on the Northern sector. They followed all the procedures required to hold a successful concert, she said, but the results fell short of expectations.

Sista Afia mentioned that she approached Macassio and Fancy Gadam about working with the North’s biggest musicians, but they never showed up.

“We exerted every effort. We met the Chiefs and attended the prom, after all. When it comes to Tamale, we followed all the proper procedures.

“We contacted Fancy. I contacted both of them. Then he (Fancy) gave me an amount that I have to pay, and we bargained. And the minute I was about to pay, he wasn’t answering my text.”
