The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bombs Events Center in Bolgatanga, Edmond Bombande has communicated his side of the story concerning the low turnout of the “White Party Concert” held by Showbowy at his facility.

The controversial Ghanaian artiste born Wahidu Adisa hosted a musical concert at the Bombs Events Center “Kofi Chale” ground on the 24th of December, 2022. Headlining the concert was Fancy Gadam, performing on the night were the show organizer (Showbowy) and other artistes.

The concert was expected by the masses to be one of the biggest concerts in the region considering the artistic pedigree of the headlined artiste, however, it turned out to be a massive flop over poor attendance and his and the headlined artiste’s failure to perform.

A lot of factors contributed to the low sale of tickets and records of a disappointing number of people (low patronage) of which the major factor was the failure of the said artiste to involve the media (radio presenters, bloggers, etc) and other industry persons.

Meanwhile, in response to criticism of the event a day after it took place, the performer stated that the facility’s owner’s decision to open his “Upper Terry” club for business while his concert was going on was the primary factor in his concert’s low attendance.

The private investor made it clear that he was not to be blamed for the artiste’s inability to stage a successful concert when he spoke about the impact of this topic on January 10, 2023, at the facility’s premises.

He added that Showbowy had agreed to let people use his club, the Upper Terry, while the concert was going on at the Kofi Chale grounds.

“Like you said earlier, there are alot that’s been said about bombs event all round .

My main aim was to make sure every individual in the region to on earth their talents.”

With a tone of regrets ,he made mention that sometimes he feel regretful for putting up such investment.

“To set a typical example, the recent one was the all white party that showboy brought fancy gadam.*

“I was in Accra when showboy called me and said he wanted to use the popular kofi Chale floor for his events”

“I told him that my upper Terry will be in operation and he said it wouldn’t affect his show”

The aforementioned details emerged during a crucial discussion about issues affecting the entertainment industry in the Upper East Region between him and industry personalities, on January 10, 2022.
