People elsewhere within the Africontinentgent may be disgusted by the normal practice in the Democratic Republic (DR) Congo that is said to be lucrative.

Carrying corpse to and from the mortuary on a motorbike has been established to be one of the lucrative business currently reigning in that country according to reports.

Termed “boda boda” a cloth is used to cover the deceased and tied round with an elastic rope, worn some wellington boots and made to sit at the back of the motorbike like a pillion rider.

The person is then transported to the destination the rider is contracted to convey the body to.

Images of the happing have dominated social media discussions since last weekend after they were first shared  shared on social media by one PK Kasirim.

What is not known is whether transportation challenges is the cause of this in the war-torn country or that is also their way of conveying dead bodies
