Pentecost University Introduces Mortuary and Funeral Program. The Pentecost University in Ghana has launched a certificate program for undergraduates who seek to study Mortuary and funeral services and acquire certificates as professionals.
The launch of the certificate program in Mortuary, Science, and funeral services took place in Accra, Sowutuom, Pentecost University’s main campus on Tuesday November 22,2022.
According to information, the program seeks to address the problems at the mortuary and funeral services— cultural, professional and physiological and to provide befitting practice of the departed souls of beloved ones.

Prof. Kwabena Agyapong-Kodua the Vice Chancellor of Pentecost University spoke at the forum on the launch of the program. According to the VC, Five faculties of the University have been tasked to design appropriate causes that will train practitioners in the field to enhance better delivery of the service in the area of Mortuary and funeral.
The head of the Mortuaries and Funeral facilities Agency in Ghana, Mr. Emmanuel Okeyere took the opportunity to commerce Pentecost University of Ghana for starting this important program. He pledges that the association will cooperate with the University in the area of research and appropriate jurisdiction.
