Mr Eazi Sponsors Ghana Premier League With Over N2.4 Billion (Photos)

Nigerian musician Mr Eazi has splashed a whopping $6 million on Ghana Premier League as the official headline sponsor for three years via his online gaming franchise, betPawa.

Mr Eazi confirmed this deal on his official Twitter page, where he informed his over 2.9 million followers on the platform. “Excited that my company is the new sponsor for the Ghana Premier League. #ProudCeo,” he shared alongside some images (below).

Ghana Football Association (GFA) also acknowledged Mr Eazi’s betPawa’s sponsorship at an official signing ceremony in Accra ahead of the 2022/23 league slated for September 2.

The partnership between GFA and betPawa will focus on “properly marketing and positioning the elite league to become one of the most successful and attractive on the continent,” GFA confirmed.

“The company’s high appetite for growing and harnessing talents, creating opportunities, and rewarding fans across its markets are a few of the many reasons for partnering with the GFA,” Mr Eazi disclosed.

The emPawa Africa incubation program and the venture capital firm Zagadat Capital are also included in Mr. Eazi’s extensive portfolio of investments.

As of Saturday morning, August 6, 2022, $6 million is equal to 2,493,060,000 Naira. See the images below,
