Focusing on Northug’s “Zaga” track, Kotia pointed out a powerful line:
“Simbie man dugra endaanga, nasaraa la man bi3ra kye y3 ti buon y3 bojaa.”
He explained that this line is about growth, struggle, and bravery. According to Kotia, “Simbie” is a food that takes very long and effort to cook, while milking a young female cow is also a tough task. These two images, he said, reflect how Northug is still going through his own challenges, growing, and not yet “arrived” , but at the same time, he boldly tells the world to bring their champion, just like David faced Goliath.
“The line shows that even though he is still becoming, he has the courage to face anything that comes his way,” Kotia added.
