2022 WASSCE Results Is The Best In The Last 8 years —Akufo Addo

Following the release of the results for the Senior High School candidates who completed in 2022, the president of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, has associated the performance of the students with his policy, the Free Senior High School enrolled under his administration.

 

The West Africa Examination Council released the 2022 West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination on December 1, 2022, thus, Thursday.

The council announced that the provisional results have been released and candidates so, desired can access them through their official portal. The 2022 WASSCE results have seen improvement in percentage scores of the various Core subjects; English, Mathematics, Integrated Science, and Social studies.

Following that, the president, Akufo Addo, has credited the Performance with a swift comparison to 2016 and has concluded the measures of the Free SHS have been very influential in the success of the results so far.

The tweet from the President reads “The 2022 results are the best of the last eight (8) years. Surely, there can no longer be any controversy about the validity of the Free SHS policy and its consequential measures. It is working, and working well”

The president also attached the details to support his claims in the tweet.

Akufo Addo will end his tenure in 2024, Free SHS Policy remains one of his greatest achievements since taking over in 2016.
